Michał Szlaga | POLAND - exhibition
Over 10 years of work by Michał Szlaga has been entranced as result of the journeys in Poland. These are thousands of photos that create a portfolio of the photographer's journey through the eponymous land. At the exhibition, which begins on 10th February at the Fort Institute of Photography Gallery, you will see 300 photos of the artist. The photos in Poland were taken spontaneously, from the perspective of a voyeur. Although Szlaga photographed the heroes of his photos at times when they did not expect it, his goal was not to look for sensations or ridicule the portrayed people, but to find certain universal emotions in their gestures and facial expressions. The exhibition will run from 10th February 2017 to 9th April 2017. The partner of the exhibition is HOLYART, and the patrons of the Foundation: White Stone Development and the Fort Mokotów.
