Ernesto Bazan | CUBAN TRILOGY - exhibition

The selection of nearly 70 photographs opens Cuba Bazan – the author of the series of photos which were made in the period related to the collapse of the communist bloc, named El Periodo Special by Fidel Castro. The set Al Campo was created after the author's decision to permanently settle down on the island. Al Campo is a tribute to the simple life in the provinces. The culmination is the process of eliminating the political issues in favor of the private and universal issues which are shown in works from the latest series, Isla. They include both intimate portraits as well as panoramic landscapes. The Cuban Trilogy is a part of the program of bringing the classics of world photography closer to the Polish audience, carried out by the Fort Institute of Photography Foundation.
