Butohpolis: II edition of the International Butoh Art Festival.
This year's program is devoted to various forms of butoh in Europe. Among the invited guests are some of the most outstanding European dancers from Germany, Sweden and Poland. Artists want to present primarily the so-called new butoh - different from the classical one and looking for modern means of expression - creating on the border of butoh and other performing arts. One of the parts of this event will take place at Fort Mokotów.
"Butoh Art" is also a field of art other than dance, which will appear at this year's Festival: 3D animation made in motion capture technology and dance photography. The program of the Festival includes both stage and outdoor performances - site-specific inspired by a specific place.
Together with PółnaPół Studio and Schodki na Lato, we invite all interested parties.
