Justyna Mielnikiewicz | IN UKRAINE | - exhibition

On 29^th November at the Fort Institute of Photography Gallery, we have the honor to present a unique exhibition. For years, Justyna Mielnikiewicz has carefully documented everyday life in countries after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Her debut book Woman With The Monkey (2015) is a record of fifteen years of work in the Caucasus. Since 2014, she has been photographing Ukraine. At the exhibition, we present over 40 photos from the Ukraine Runs Through It project, which was closed in the form of a publication at the end of 2019. The book was shortlisted in the most important Aperture book competition - Paris Photo Photobook Prize.
